The State of Washington has created a list of industry standards that all Professional Pet Walkers have to meet. Here are just a few of the ways Seattle Hounders is meeting all of these standards to keep you and your family safe.
Each morning I take my temperature and record it in a log where I also keep track of any interactions that I may have with clients. If I were to have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches,or new loss of taste or smell or have been exposed to someone who has, I would immediately suspend services.
If possible I text clients when I arrive to have their dog ready and waiting for me at the door or in the yard.
I only use my leashes and they are sanitized each day.
In my truck I have installed a hand washing station with soap and running water. I also have plenty of hand sanitizer in my truck and on my person through the day.
I wear a mask at each clients house and I wear a mask while at the dog park.
I wipe down all high touch points in my truck during and at the end of my day with Lysol wipes.
I ask all of my clients to immediately tell me if they or anyone in their household has fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches,or new loss of taste or smell or have been exposed to someone who has. Service will be stopped immediately for that client.
